About
I make serious companies look as strong on the outside as they actually are on the inside.
And I stay close enough to make sure it holds.
Why I Do This
A fairness problem, not a design problem.
I started STUDEO because I kept seeing the same thing. A strong company. An experienced team. A real thesis. A real opportunity. And a presentation that did not match.
The website felt thin. The deck told three different stories. The documents looked like they came from three different companies. The email signatures were inconsistent. None of it reflected the weight of what the team had built.
That gap bothered me. Not as a design problem. As a fairness problem. Good companies deserve to be taken seriously. Sloppy presentation costs them real outcomes: slower trust, missed hires, lower valuations, partners who chose someone who just looked more together.
Closing that gap is what I do.
How I Work
One person. The whole picture. Close enough to hold the line.
One person owns everything that touches the outside world. The story, the brand, the website, the deck, the documents, the email signatures. Every outward-facing touchpoint.
Strategy and execution happen in the same hands. I sit in a room and work through positioning, then go build the deck myself. The gap between what we agreed the company should say and what actually gets built does not exist, because there is no translation step.
Then I stay close. Businesses keep evolving and new needs come up. When the partner already knows the company, the story, and the standards, everything moves faster and stays aligned.
That is by design. It is also why I only take on five System clients at a time. Enough capacity to do real work. Not so much that the relationship stops feeling close.
What to Expect From Me
A point of view. Not a list of options.
I show up with a recommendation. I explain why. I let you react to something concrete. I do not hand you a menu and ask you to choose.
I will push back when something is off. I was hired for judgment, not compliance. Most of the time that makes the work stronger. Occasionally it makes a conversation less comfortable. I think that is a fair trade.
I treat every touchpoint like someone important will see it, because they usually are. And I hold the line on consistency once we agree on the story and the standards, even when the pressure is to let something slide.
Who I Am
Twenty-plus years in design, messaging, and brand systems. Enterprise experience includes Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Ace Hotel, 7-Eleven, BioSteel, and others as a senior design leader.
STUDEO is where I focus that experience on what I care about most: platform-level engagements for sponsor-backed, founder-led, and operator-led companies in infrastructure, energy, industrial, and real estate.
I work solo by design. Specialists come in for narrow technical needs. The thinking, the creative direction, and the relationship run through me.
One More Thing
The best relationships I have feel like partnerships, not transactions.
Comfortable enough for honest conversations alongside the work. Close enough to pick up the phone when something important is on the calendar. That ease is what makes the work move faster, because the relationship is strong.
I meet most clients in person at least once. Everything works better after that.
If this sounds like the kind of partner you are looking for, let's talk.
